Sitting at Hong Kong airport, waiting for the long flight home. It was only 11-some hours in the air because we had a very large tailwind (and turbulence) that propelled us back to San Francisco as quickly as one could hope for.
Will be reporting in more detail after Christmas. Thanks for accompanying me on my trip, and Merry Christmas.
Roger Strukhoff received a BA with honors from Knox College, Certificate in Technical Communication from UC-Berkeley, and MBA from CSU-East Bay. His work recently won a "Stevie" American Business Award as best publication in its category. He's served as a guest lecturer at MIT. His volunteer work in international affairs merited a Letter of Commendation from the Commandant of the U.S. Coast Guard. He splits most of his time between Silicon Valley and Southeast Asia, but can also be found at twitter.com/strukhoff
I started the blog in 2008 as a way to vent in a format that is longer than 140 characters but shorter than a full-length article.
I originally wanted to cover technology and business here. But I'm easily irritated, so vent about the weather, hotel rooms, and other meaningless trivial stuff in addition to my attempts at seeing--and covering--the big picture!
